You keep hearing about Cyber-attacks on the news and in your professional circles. They seem to be growing in complexity, scope, and frequency but they haven’t hit home hard yet.
You know you’ve got some protection in place, and your people tell you they’ve got it covered but you aren’t 100% confident. According to an IDG survey,
of senior IT and security leaders lack confidence in their security posture.
The truth is you may already have been breached and a Cybercriminal is setting up camp in your organization as you read this blog post. Most companies have great perimeter security but once past that an attacker can sit in the background and collect the information they need to drop the bomb.
Some people think that a Cybercriminal couldn’t possibly be interested in targeting them because they have nothing of value. Cybercriminals don’t really care about what business you are in their only interest is getting paid by any means necessary. They are also incredibly sophisticated and will go to great lengths to figure out a way to monetize the hack. If it isn’t your business, it may be your customer’s businesses that are impacted through you.
Are you fully aware of where your risks are and how to address them?
